JPE Brand Events | JPE and Experts Shaping the Hydrogen Industry
2024-11-14
Company ActivityOn November 11th, JPE co-hosted the "World Hydrogen Trends Forum" with the Metal Industries Research and Development Center at the Nangang Exhibition Center. Over a hundred professionals from Taiwan Bronkhorst, CTCI Machinery, GTRI, and other organizations were invited to attend. At the symposium, JPE and industry leaders such as Taiwan TÜV Rheinland and Linde LienHwa shared their experiences and insights in the field of hydrogen applications. The symposium delved into the current state and future challenges of hydrogen applications from the perspective of international standards trends.
As the world places increasing emphasis on ESG sustainable development, hydrogen, as a clean energy source, has attracted global attention. The EU's "Energy System Integration Strategy and Clean Hydrogen Strategy" aims to build a highly efficient and interconnected energy sector, achieving a win-win situation for both the environment and the economy. Gao Hongjun, General Manager of Taiwan TÜV Rheinland, emphasized that Taiwan's energy environment differs from that of the EU, making it infeasible to simply replicate foreign experiences. He called on the government to take a leading role in formulating a hydrogen strategy tailored to Taiwan's specific characteristics to guide industrial development.
As a leading manufacturer of valves, fittings, and other components, JPE shared at the symposium the outstanding performance of its products in demanding hydrogen application environments, emphasizing the importance of high-quality components for the safe and reliable operation of hydrogen systems. JPE believes that the development of the hydrogen industry requires the joint efforts of all stakeholders, and high-quality equipment and components will be the cornerstone of the hydrogen industry's development.
*Building a safe and efficient hydrogen future together, embracing opportunities and overcoming challenges.
As hydrogen is expected to be widely used in the civilian sector in the future, balancing hydrogen production costs, safety, and environmental benefits has become a significant challenge for industry development. Experts attending the symposium unanimously agreed that the development of hydrogen requires the joint efforts of government, industry, and academia. The government should provide policy support, encourage enterprises to invest in research and development, and establish a sound safety regulatory framework. The industry should strengthen technological innovation, reduce production costs, and improve the efficiency of hydrogen applications. Academia should continue to conduct basic research to provide theoretical support for industrial development. Taiwan has advantages in developing the hydrogen industry, such as a well-developed natural gas pipeline network and high-quality human resources. As long as the government can formulate clear policies and provide adequate resource support, Taiwan's hydrogen industry will be able to secure a place in global competition.
Through this symposium, JPE showcased its professional brand image and product strength to a wider audience. In the future, JPE will significantly step up its research and development efforts, continuously launch innovative products, and provide customers with even better services.
